Racing The Wind

I've always loved watching horses when a storm approaches, they get very frisky and tear around. I wanted to portray that in Racing The Wind. I photographed these beauties in Montrose, Colorado a few years ago. I painted an approaching storm for the background, see the tornado? I hope you can feel the power in these magnificent animals and imagine the last time you saw horses racing the wind.
