"I grew up in the resort town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where I was surrounded by God's beauty, a sense of history and art. I always knew I was an artist, but after college, I didn't feel I could make a living. You see, I was a realist and the cool kids were all working in impressionism or abstract. As life would have it, I went into fashion and became a knitwear designer. Years later I was needing a life change and my husband suggested I should paint. God bless him! I was finally going to do what I was called to do. That move changed my life. I have been privileged to travel the country, meeting models and learning about history. My passion is portraiture and I enjoy taking my own reference material. Many of my models used their money to put themselves through college including my own daughter. One of my models has become famous on a current TV show. Congrats Moses! 

As an artist and photographer, you look for that special shot. People refer to it as the money shot, but it's more than that. You know it when you see it; perhaps you're the only one who did.
